Photo Card Tips
PRINTED PHOTOGRAPHS
• Please send us your favorite photograph.
• Try to take your pictures against a light color background
if it fits into your design.
• When taking your photo, try to take it so the subjects
fill out as much of the picture as possible. If design calls for
a close up, take the picture of head and shoulders. Otherwise,
there will be a loss of sharpness if we enlarge just the face
of a picture taken full-body.
• Please send original untouched photographs. We will take
care of red eyes.
DIGITAL PHOTOGRAPHS
• E-mail as an attachment to: photos@QualityCustomAnnouncements.com
digital photographs taken at the highest resolution your camera
allows and save in either .jpg or .tif format
• Newer digital cameras have high resolution options which
you can set prior to taking the photos. Some cameras require
you to connect them to your PC to set them to the highest
resolution option while others you can do with the touch of
a button.
• When you e-mail your photos to us at photos@QualityCustomAnnouncements.com,
please refer to your order number and include your name, address
and telephone number in the email.
SCANS
If you scan:
• Scan photo at a minimum of 300 dpi or higher and e-mail
it to us in either .jpg or .tif format. E-mail as an attachment
to: photos@QualityCustomAnnouncements.com.
Please refer to your order number and include your name, address
and telephone number in the email. We suggest compressing
the file (Winzip, Stuffit, etc.).
If we scan:
• We accept any color or black & white photo, flat artwork
measuring up to 11 x 17" or slides. We do not accept negatives.
We recommend sending photos measuring no less than 3-1/2 x 5". Please note that the quality of your scanned photo is
dependent on the quality of your original photo. Send your
photographs to:

• In order to use professional photographs taken at a studio,
either digitally or printed, please include photographer's
release with your order. If this is not included, we will
not proceed with your order. If you need a blank release form,
please let us know at cr@qualitycustomannouncements.com
and we will email you a blank form.
Your photographs will be returned to you with your order in
their original condition.
